Lemon's festival

The Lemon Festival makes Menton as busy as a beehive. Its streets and gardens take on the warm colours of oranges and lemons, its favourite citrus fruits. Danses, musique and extravagant floats fill its streets during 20 days of madness and fantasy.

International carnival of Nice

Dates : mid-February >beginning-march : 2 weeks
Nice's carnival, France's first international carnival, is the most important event of the Côte d'Azur during Winter. During two weeks, the town lives to the rhythm of carnival floats, flower battles, prestigious parties, rock or techno concerts, shows and fireworks displays attract each year, more than 1.200.000 people!

Each year, Menton picks a theme for Christmas, such as China, Noah's arch or the circus. A wonderful show which mesmerizes both children and adults alike

One of the major events of the Côte d'Azur, Monaco's formula 1 grand prix is the most prestigious and most difficult grand prix of the seasons. A mythical race which has seen the best compete in the principalty's streets.

The town of Menton hasn't stop cultivating its close relationship with plants, gardens, architecture and landscape gardening. For 3 years, it has hosted " June, the month of gardens ", planning exceptional visits, exhibitions, and shows all month long.

For a few days, Menton dons its party gear to celebrate the tango. The city dives into the sensuous rhythms of Buenos Aires's suburbs. A fantastic program with concerts by tango specialists, exhibitions, conferences, films, workshops and balls.
